Thanga Meengal (Tamil: தங்க மீன்கள்; Golden Fishes) is an Indian drama film written and directed by Ram, directing his second film after his highly acclaimed Kattradhu Thamizh. Ram, besides, plays the lead role as well alongside several newcomers. A joint production of Gautham Menon's Photon Kathaas and R. S. Infotainment, the film features score and soundtrack composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film's shooting commenced in mid-January 2011 and is expected to be completed by late 2011.
