Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga is an upcoming Tamil-language romantic comedy film written, directed and co-produced by Pandiraj. It will be featuring Vimal and Sivakarthikeyan in lead roles. Bindu Madhavi and Regina Cassandra plays the heroines in the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the soundtrack.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the soundtrack. Director Pandiraj and Yuvan Shankar Raja have come together for the first time in Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga. The audio of the film was to be launched on Feb 6th at Satyam Cinemas in Chennai, but had been cancelled, owing to the case filed by R Jayaraman of RS Infotainment against P Madan the co-producer of Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga. The director reveals that he had initially planned for four songs, but decided to add one more track at the last minute. Silambarasan has sung the opening song of the film with Yuvan.

7G Rainbow Colony is a 2004 Tamil drama written and directed by Selvaraghavan, starring Ravi Krishna, who debuted in this film, and Sonia Agarwal in lead roles, with music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography handled by Arvind Krishna. The film, released on 15 October 2004, met with critical acclaim and commercial success upon release. Moreover, Ravi Krishna received the Filmfare Best Male Debut (South) for his acting performance, whilst Yuvan Shankar Raja was awarded the Filmfare Best Music Director Award for his highly praised musical score.

The Blast - Yuvan Shankar Raja

The Blast is the first Indipop studio album by Indian musician Yuvan Shankar Raja, released in July 1999. It features 12 tracks, which were all composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

SOUNDTRACK

Yuvan Shankar Raja started working on an independent studio album, even before stepping into the Tamil film industry, working as a film composer and music director. It was, in fact, this album, which made possible his entry into film business, since producer T. Siva approached and eventually assigned him to compose the score for his 1997 Tamil film Aravindhan, after having listened to a couple of tracks, Yuvan Shankar had composed from this album.

He worked for nearly 2 years on this album, which finally got released in July 1999. But since he wasn't popular and not a household name yet during the time, his album went totally unnoticed and failed to gain attraction, though featuring some very popular artists as actor Kamal Haasan, Carnatic-based singers Nithyashree Mahadevan, Unnikrishnan and Srinivas.

According to Yuvan Shankar Raja, the album is based on the thought of World Peace. He tells, that during the time, he was working on this album, India was carrying out Nuclear testing, which he had used as the inspiration, from which also the title is derived.

Soundtrack is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja collaborating with director Thiru for second time and Vishal for sixth time. Audio was released in 4th December 2012 at Prasad Labs. Na. Muthukumar and Adhityan were present at the event, among other media personalities. Yuvan Shankar Raja was in Kuala Lumpur, mastering the sound for the film, and hence couldnt attend the event. Trisha and Sunaina too missed the event as they were busy with their current projects.

Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal - Yuvan Shankar Raja

Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal (English: Three People Three Love) is an upcoming Tamil romance film written and directed by Vasanth. It stars Arjun, Cheran, Vimal, Muktha Bhanu and newcomers Surveen Chawla and Lasini. The film, which will feature musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is currently in its production stage. It is slated for March 2013 release.

SOUNDTRACK

Vasanth roped in Yuvan Shankar Raja as the composer, who he had previously worked with in Poovellam Kettuppar (1999) and his last project Satham Podathey (2007). In an interview, the director stated that Yuvan Shankar Raja had put in about seven months of work for this film, while describing the genre of the soundtrack as post-modern music. The soundtrack album features six songs with lyrics penned by Na. Muthukumar.

Composing was started even before the film was launched, with the first song being recorded on August 9, 2011. Popular Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam originally sang the melody titled "Mazhai Mazhai Mazhaiyo Mazhai", which was recorded in Mumbai. The final version, however, featured Karthik's vocals. Neha Bhasin, who had sung the well received song "Pesugiren" in Satham Podathey before, lent her voice for another song in the album. Nandini Srikar of Ra.One fame crooned a solo "Aaha Kadhal", which, too, was recorded in Mumbai, while composer Ramesh Vinayagam sang a peppy number titled "Stop the Paatu" for the album. A teaser trailer of "Stop The Paatu" was released online in September 2012 and garnered positive response though the song was not included in the audio. The composer himself performed the song "Unakkagave" which was dubbed as the first dubstep track in Tamil cinema. Yuvan Shankar Raja later revealed that he had not composed a single new tune for the film, but that all were stock songs he had earlier recorded which were chosen by Vasanth. The final mixing was done in Berlin, according to Vasanth.

The album was launched in a critically acclaimed event on 1 December 2012 at the Park Sheraton Hotel in Chennai. The entire cast and crew of the film, besides noted film personalities, including directors K. Balachander, K. S. Ravikumar, K. Bhagyaraj, N. Lingusamy, Sasi and actors Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Kushboo, Krishna, Prakash Raj were present at the function which was host by television anchors Ma Ka Pa Anand and Divyadarshini. The songs from the album were also performed live on stage by the original artists. All lyrics are written by Na. Muthukumar.

Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer (English: So You Do Love Me) is an upcoming 2012 Indian Tamil romance film directed by Suseenthiran. It features debutante Santhosh Ramesh (Singanamala Ramesh's second son) and Manisha Yadav, heroine of Vazhakku Enn 18/9 fame in the lead roles. There are six songs but only four will be featured in the album as the director feels that the lyrics of the other two songs would give out the plot details. Aadhibhagavan - Yuvan Shankar Raja

Aadhi Bhagavan (English: Ancient God) is an upcoming Tamil action film written and directed by Ameer Sultan. Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra play the lead roles in the film, which is being produced by DMK politician J. Anbazhagan and features music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by R. B. Gurudev and K. Devaraj and editing by Ram Sudharsan. Following a formal announcement in February 2010, the film was shot over a period of two years across Thailand, Rajasthan, Goa, Chennai and Mumbai. The film is scheduled to release for Pongal 2013.

SOUNDTRACK

As with Ameer's previous directorials, the film score and soundtrack were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and lyrics were written by Snehan. In late July 2010, the trio left for Singapore for song compositions. One of the songs was reported to be a club number, featuring completely Hindi lyrics; Hindi singer Mohit Chauhan was recruited to lend his voice to this song. In late November 2010, another song was recorded, which Yuvan Shankar considered as one of his toughest compositions. While usually completing his songs within a couple of days, this song, performed by Shreya Ghoshal and Sharib Sabri, had taken him more than a week to finish, after he had made seven to eight versions of it. In late July 2012, the composer was working on the final sound mixing in Berlin, Germany. Tamil Canadian rapper Rajeev ThaProphecy collaborated with Yuvan Shankar Raja and sang a full rap song in the film.

The soundtrack album was unveiled at a grand event on October 6, 2012 at the Powerade Centre in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, the first ever Tamil audio launch event held in North America. Besides the six songs from Aadhi Bhagavan as well as popular songs from the director and composer's previous collaborations, the event saw a dance performance by South African dancers. The album met with highly positive response from public and critics alike and Yuvan won accolades for providing an wholesome variety album.

Dhenikaina Ready is a controversial Telugu slapstick comedy film directed by G.Nageswara Reddy and produced by Mohan Babu. The film features Vishnu Manchu and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles. The movie was dubbed in Malayalam as Endhinum Ready and was released simultaneously with Telugu. This film is a remake of the Malayalam film Udayapuram Sulthan. Yuvan Shankar Raja and Chakri were the Music Directors whereas Yuvan composed two songs for the album.

Two Songs in the audio album of the film has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The soundtrack features five tracks that belong to varied genres including a parody. Billa 2 - Yuvan Shankar Raja

Billa II is a 2012 Indian Tamil gangster film directed by Chakri Toleti. It is a prequel to the 2007 film Billa and focuses on how David, an ordinary man from the coastal regions of South Tamil Nadu, becomes Billa, a dreaded underworld don, with Ajith Kumar reprising the role of the titular character. Supporting roles are essayed by Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah, Vidyut Jamwal and Sudhanshu Pandey, all of whom make their debut in Tamil cinema. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while R. D. Rajasekhar handled the cinematography and Suresh Urs worked as the editor. The film, produced by Wide Angle Creations in association with the Hinduja Group company IN Entertainment, was officially announced in November 2010, with Vishnuvardhan as the director. Due to conflicting dates, he was replaced by Chakri Toleti, while a new script was penned by a team involving Toleti and Eric Felberg. Filming, which commenced in July 2011 and was completed by December 2011, took place primarily at Tamil Nadu, Goa, Hyderabad and Georgia. Billa II was released worldwide on 13 July 2012 and a dubbed Telugu version titled David Billa was also simultaneously released in Andhra Pradesh. Billa II received mixed critical response upon release, but opened well at the box office.

SOUNDTRACK

Yuvan Shankar Raja, who had also worked on the score of Billa (2007), composed the soundtrack and score of Billa II, becoming his fifth project starring Ajith Kumar. The album conists of six tracks, five songs and a theme music track. The producer however confirmed that the film would feature a sixth song, not included in the soundtrack that was composed for a belly dance sequence. Na. Muthukumar agreed to write the lyrics for the songs. In a departure from convention, the lyrics were penned first which were set to tunes later. The audio launch was initially to be released in mid-March 2012, but was then pushed to second week of April. Actor Rajinikanth was approached to unveil the soundtrack, with the team supposedly rescheduling the audio launch to suit Rajinikanth's dates, who had left for London for the filming of his film Kochadaiyaan. The soundtrack was unveiled on 1 May 2012, coninciding with Ajith Kumar's birthday. Sony Music Entertainment that marketed the album of Ajith Kumar's previous film Mankatha, acquired the music rights of Billa II as well for an unprecedented sum after some weeks-long negotiations. In the week before the audio launch, Sony Music began releasing teasers of each of the songs every day and promoted them across social platforms. The Telugu version of the soundtrack was released on 5 June 2012 at the Taj Deccan in Hyderabad. The soundtrack received positive response from critics and topped the charts.

David Billa - Yuvan Shankar Raja

David Billa is a 2012 Indian Telugu gangster film dubbed version of Billa 2 directed by Chakri Toleti. It is a prequel to the 2007 tamil film Billa and focuses on how David, an ordinary man from the coastal regions of South Tamil Nadu, becomes Billa, a dreaded underworld don, with Ajith Kumar reprising the role of the titular character. Supporting roles are essayed by Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah, Vidyut Jamwal and Sudhanshu Pandey, all of whom make their debut in Tamil cinema. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while R. D. Rajasekhar handled the cinematography and Suresh Urs worked as the editor. The film, produced by Wide Angle Creations in association with the Hinduja Group company IN Entertainment, was officially announced in November 2010, with Vishnuvardhan as the director. Due to conflicting dates, he was replaced by Chakri Toleti, while a new script was penned by a team involving Toleti and Eric Felberg. Filming, which commenced in July 2011 and was completed by December 2011, took place primarily at Tamil Nadu, Goa, Hyderabad and Georgia. The dubbed Telugu version titled David Billa was simultaneously released in Andhra Pradesh along with tamil version Billa 2. David Billa received mixed critical response upon release, but opened well at the box office.

SOUNDTRACK

Yuvan Shankar Raja, who had also worked on the score of Billa (2007), composed the soundtrack and score of David Billa, becoming his fifth project starring Ajith Kumar. The album conists of six tracks, five songs and a theme music track. The producer however confirmed that the film would feature a sixth song, not included in the soundtrack that was composed for a belly dance sequence. Ananth Sriram agreed to write the lyrics for the songs. In a departure from convention, the lyrics were penned first which were set to tunes later. The audio launch was initially to be released in mid-March 2012, but was then pushed to second week of April. Actor Rajinikanth was approached to unveil the soundtrack, with the team supposedly rescheduling the audio launch to suit Rajinikanth's dates, who had left for London for the filming of his film Kochadaiyaan. Sony Music Entertainment that marketed the album of Ajith Kumar's previous film Mankatha, acquired the music rights of David Billa as well for an unprecedented sum after some weeks-long negotiations. In the week before the audio launch, Sony Music began releasing teasers of each of the songs every day and promoted them across social platforms. The Telugu version of the soundtrack was released on 5 June 2012 at the Taj Deccan in Hyderabad. The soundtrack received positive response from critics and topped the charts.

Mr. Nookayya (Previously known as Mr. Nokia and Mr. No Keyia) is a 2012 Indian Telugu-action film written and directed by Ani Kanneganti, produced by D. S. Rao under Shri Shailendra Cinemas banner and starring Manoj Manchu, Kriti Kharbanda and Sana Khan in lead roles. The film score and soundtrack is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while cinematography is handled by B. Rajasekar. Dialogues of the film were written by popular writer duo Paruchuri Brothers and screenplay was handled by Ani Kanneganti. The film was released worldwide on 8 March 2012. Upon release, the film ran into trouble as the telecommunications company Nokia filed a suit against the use of its registered trademark. The film was then re-edited and re-released nine days later later as Mr. Nookayya Reloaded.

SOUNDTRACK

The soundtrack of the film was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, which happens to be his second Manoj Manchu project after Raju Bhai. During the launch of the film, Yuvan Shankar had already tuned two of the songs, while the lead actor Manoj Manchu has also written lyrics for one of the songs. The album consists of seven songs from Yuvan Shankar Raja's earlier Tamil releases, with varied orchestrations. The soundtrack album was released on 19 January 2012 under its tentative title Mr. No Keyia at Rock Heights, HITEC City, Madhapur in Hyderabad, with several prominent film personalities being present.

Vettai (Hunt) is a 2012 Tamil action film written and directed by N. Linguswamy. The film stars Arya, R. Madhavan, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead roles while Ashutosh Rana, Thambi Ramaiah and Nassar played supporting roles. The film score is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while cinematography is by Nirav Shah and editing handled by Anthony Gonsalves. The film became announced shortly after the release of Lingusamy's Paiyaa, with Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies agreeing to produce the film, following a successful collaboration during the director's previous film. During a lengthy pre-production phase, the film underwent major changes in its main cast and Cloud Nine Movies stepped out of the project, with Linguswamy's own banner, Thirupathi Brothers, taking up the film. Filming was initially planned to begin by mid-2010, but was delayed until March 2011.

SOUNDTRACK

Following successful collaborations with director Linguswamy in Sandakozhi (2005) and Paiyaa (2010), Yuvan Shankar Raja was signed up to produce the film score and soundtrack for Vettai as well. In November 2010, the duo along with lyricist Na. Muthukumar left for Malaysia to compose the first tunes. The soundtrack album was launched on 16 December 2011 at the Anna Centenary Auditorium in Kotturpuram, Chennai, with several lead actors and directors from the Tamil film industry attending the event. Four days prior to the soundtrack release, the song "Pappappa" was launched as a single track at the studios of Radio Mirchi, with a making-of video of the recording being simultaneously uploaded on YouTube. The song, which was sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja himself along with Renu Kannan, a finalist of the second season of the reality-based singing competition Airtel Super Singer, quickly gained attention and became very popular. Behindwoods top ten songs list was topped from December 02nd 2011 to December 15th 2011 by "Laddu Laddu Rendu Laddu" the song which they described as "tread-mills back to the glorious Ilayaraja's era, bringing out the raw raunchiness with its perfect orchestration. Vikram along with the sultry sounding Suchitra pack the show like an 80s disco station. The veena rendition towards the end with the pitched bass creates the perfect item number, which may find many takers on the dancing floor. Along with the dancing sirens Shriya Saran and Reema Sen, the song will be the next most demanded affair on the charts". Kazhugu (English: Vulture) is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language comedy-thriller film written and directed by newcomer Sathyasiva, starring Krishna Sekhar and Bindu Madhavi in lead roles. The film, produced by Krishna's father K. K. Sekhar along with K. S. Madhubala, features music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The story revolves around four persons, referred to as "Kazhugu", who recover bodies of suicide victims who jump off a cliff. The film, based on real-life incidents, has been shot in real locations, including Kodaikanal, Theni and Munnar. It had been in making since late 2010 and eventually released on March 16, 2012, to mixed reviews.Sun TV has bagged the satellite rights for this film.

SOUNDTRACK

The soundtrack of Kazhugu was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. It features five tracks, which were sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja himself, his brother Karthik Raja and noted folk music artists Pushpavanam Kuppusamy and Velmurugan among others. Yuvan Shankar Raja said that he composed two of the songs keeping the visuals in mind, after he had seen the video montages that were shot. The lyrics were penned by Na. Muthukumar, Snehan and Eaknath. The soundtrack album was released on 23 November 2011 at Sathyam Cinemas. Rajamouli, composer M. M. Keeravani and actor Rana Daggubati attended the function, which was anchored by comedian Ali and Suma Kanakala. The event featured performances by percussionist Taufiq Qureshi and rapper Blaaze, while several songs from the soundtrack were also performed by the respective singers on stage. The event was broadcast live on MAA TV, and the entertainment portal Indiaglitz.com. Panjaa's soundtrack features six tracks. Chandrabose and Ramajogayya Sastry penned the lyrics for each three songs. The composing began in late January 2011. Haricharan had recorded one song in April, with Yuvan Shankar Raja disclosing on Twitter that he had made "about eight versions" of the song. Another song was styled as a "mass comedy track" filled with banter, featuring the voices of Pawan Kalyan and Brahmanandam. Singer Hemachandra recorded the number in seven and a half hours in the night. Other singers who had lent their voice to the songs include Shweta Pandit, Belly Raj and Saloni, all of whom collaborated the first time with Yuvan Shankar Raja. Upon release, the songs generally garnered positive response. The songs became chartbusters, with the title track ("Nee Choora...") becoming the most played songs in all Hyderabad radio channels. The lyrics for the Telugu version of the soundtrack, which was released on 1 June 2011 at Taj Banjara Hotel in Hyderabad, were written by Ananth Sreeram and Chandrabose. The song "Oru Malayoram" featured vocals by children Priyanka, Srinisha and Nithyashree, who were participants in the second season of the reality-based singing-competition Airtel Super Singer Junior. Only one songs from the soundtrack, "Dia Dia Dole", was used in its entirety, along with an altered shorter version of "Rasathi" and parts of "Mudhal Murai", while "Avanapathi" and "Oru Malayoram" were completely left out. The film however featured two additional tracks, not included in the soundtrack, which would be released in a second edition.

Vaanam (Sky) is a 2011 Indian Tamil drama film written and directed by Krish. It is a remake of his 2010 Telugu film Vedam. It features an ensemble cast of Silambarasan, Bharath, Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj, Saranya and Sonia Agarwal. The score and soundtrack were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while cinematography and editing were handled by Nirav Shah and Anthony Gonsalves, respectively. Vaanam is a Hyperlink Cinema film, with the story revolving around the lives of five individuals from different walks of life, representing the five natural elements aether, air, water, fire and earthand illustrates how their fates intertwine on New Year's Eve at a hospital in Chennai. The film, jointly produced by Ganesh Janardhanan and R. Ganesh and distributed by Dayanidhi Azhagiri's Cloud Nine Movies, was released on 29 April 2011, and opened to critical acclaim upon release.

SOUNDTRACK

While Krish worked with composer M. M. Keeravani for Vedam's score, Yuvan Shankar Raja was approached and assigned as the music director of Vaanam to produce original songs and score, owing to his friendship with lead actor Silambarasan, who recommended him. In a novel attempt, the song "Evan Di Unna Pethan" was separately released as a single track to promote and popularise the film. The track was initially planned to be launched in London, but after several complications and delays, it was officially unveiled on 28 November 2010 at the Citi Center, Chennai, four months ahead of the actual audio launch. While the original soundtrack consisted of eight tracks, the Vaanam soundtrack featured only five tracks, including the earlier released single. The entire soundtrack album was finally launched on 21 March 2011 at the Residency Towers in Chennai in a simple manner. Na. Muthukumar had penned lyrics for three songs, while the other two songs ("Evan Di Unna Pethan" and "Cable Raja") were penned by the singers themselves. Film composer Srikanth Deva had lent his voice for the fifth song, collaborating with Yuvan Shankar for the first time, as did the composer-duo Abhishek-Lawrence. All lyrics written by Na. Kadhal 2 Kalyanam (Love 2 Marriage) is an upcoming Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by newcomer Milind Rau that stars debutante Sathya, brother of Tamil actor Arya, and Divya Spandana in the lead roles, whilst, Jayashree, Nagendra Prasad, Kasthuri and Anuja Iyer play pivotal roles. Noted film critic Baradwaj Rangan had written the dialogues, while Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the film's score and soundtrack. Pre-production works began by mid-2008, while the filming continued for over one year, being completed by July 2010 only. The film was jointly produced by Mirchi Movies and East Coast Entertainment. Though the movie was completed within two years,its release date is May 2012.

SOUNDTRACK

The soundtrack to the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The songs were composed and recorded in 2009 and 2010, with Chinmayi during the release time stating that she had recorded her song more than two years back, and Yuvan Shankar citing that he had handed over the Master recording in September 2010. However, due to the long delay in the making of the film, the soundtrack album was released in March 2011 only, after several postponements. Though Sony Music released the album in a "soft audio launch" directly to stores on 18 March, a special launch was later held on Radio Mirchi where all songs were unveiled and airplayed, with Arya, Sathya and Milind participating. The album features six songs overall, with Yuvan Shankar Raja himself, who stated on Twitter that the songs would be "young and fresh", having lent his voice for one of the songs. The album also features singer-composer Toshi Sabri's first song in Tamil, which was his second collaboration with Yuvan Shankar after the song "Seheri" in Oy!. Telugu singer-actor Anuj Gurwara was also supposed to have to sung one song in the film, which however, was not featured in the soundtrack album. The song "Naa Vetta Pora Aadu" was co-sung by Ragini Sri, a participant in the second season of the reality-based singing competition Airtel Super Singer, however, she was falsely credited as Roshini in the first batch of CDs. Pathinaaru (English: Sixteen) is a 2011 Tamil romantic drama film written and directed by Sabapathy Dekshinamurthy, who earlier directed films like V.I.P (1997), Punnagai Poove (2003) and A Aa E Ee (2009). It stars Shiva and Madhu Shalini in lead along with musician Darbuka Siva and television artist Abhishek in pivotal roles. The film's background score and soundtrack was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. After being launched in October 2008 under the title 16, the film was shot for over one year, getting finished in early 2010 only. One year after its completion, Kalaipuli S. Thanu bought the distribution rights and released the film on 28 January 2011 under his V. Creations banner. However, this movie was unsuccessful at the Box-Office. Despite that the movie did not fare well at the box office, it is currently being remade as Jolly Boy in Kannada language.

SOUNDTRACK

Film score and soundtrack of Pathinaaru were composed by Shiva's friend Yuvan Shankar Raja, collaborating with Sabapathy again after Punnagai Poove in 2003. Notably, Yuvan Shankar worked for this film without receiving any remuneration as it would have overrun the film's whole budget. The soundtrack album, considered the highlight of the film, features four songs along with a theme music track. The songs were composed in 2008 and recorded later that year and the next year, with the album being ready for release by July 2009. For a song in the flashback portion of the film, Yuvan Shankar Raja made his brother Karthik Raja sing, which is the first solo song of him under Yuvan Shankar's direction. Apart from Karthik Raja, Yuvan Shankar Raja himself, along with Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan and Bela Shende have sung the songs. The soundtrack album was eventually released on December 24, 2010 in a small manner, with S. P. B. Charan and Samudrakani being present along with the film crew. The songs were later dubbed for the Telugu version Naa Peru Shiva. The Telugu album was launched on June 25, 2011. A remake of the 2009 Telugu film, Kick Starring Ravi Teja and Ileana D'Cruz. The film features soundtrack composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, whilst Thaman's original score has been reused. The film, produced by Raja's father Mohan and to be distributed by Sun Pictures, released on July 23, 2010 to mixed reviews. Thillalangadi depicts story of Krishna (Jayam Ravi), a brilliant student, who has excelled in all aspects of life but loves to have a 'kick' in his life. He would do anything just to experience this 'kick'.

SOUNDTRACK

The Thillalangadi soundtrack is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, working together with director M. Raja for the first time. The soundtrack album features 7 songs, two of which have been reused from the original version, composed by Thaman, as per Raja's wish. The lyrics are penned by Na. Muthukumar and Viveka. The audio was released on 2 July 2010 at the Sun TV studios and premiered on Sun Music in the evening.

Kaadhal Solla Vandhen (English: I came to express my love) is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language romance film written and directed by Boopathy Pandian, which stars Balaji Balakrishnan of Kana Kaanum Kaalangal fame, Meghana Raj and Karthik Sabesh in lead and Arya in a guest role. The film, previously titled as Naanum En Sandhyavum and Naan Avalai Sandhitha Pozhudhu, is produced by S3 Films and features music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. It released on 13 August 2010 to mixed reviews and proved to be highly unsuccessful at the box office.

The soundtrack album, which was released on 16 June 2010 at Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai, consists of 5 songs, all of which being solo numbers and notably featuring only male voices, with the fourth song "Saamy Varugudhu" being sung by real Hindu priests (poosaris). The film did feature another song as part of the film score that was not included in the soundtrack. All lyrics written by Na. Muthukumar, except Oh Shala written by Sarathy.

The soundtrack album, which was released on 11 December'10 at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad features 5 songs, 4 of which being solo numbers. Samanta and Gopinatha Reddy jointly unveiled the Telugu Audio CD and handed over the first piece to the hero Adharva. Speaking on the occasion, Samanta says, Yuvan Shankar Raja gave melodious tunes to all the songs and the film was a big hit in Tamil. We are quite confident that the film would repeat its magic in Telugu too. Adharva says, This film had five songs and all the songs were big hits in Tamil. This is my debut film and I am confident that my film would be definitely welcomed by the Telugu Audiences too. Music Director RP Patnaik says, Yuvan Shankar Raja gave melodious tunes and I wish him a success. Goa is a 2010 Tamil romantic comedy film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, who with the project, directed his third film following two previous successes. Starring his "regular cast" consisting of Jai, Vaibhav and Premji Amaran in the lead roles along with Sneha, Piaa Bajpai and the debutant Australian model Melanie Marie in other roles, the film is the first production of Soundarya Rajinikanth's Ocher Picture Productions. Actors Silambarasan Rajendar, Nayantara and Prasanna make guest appearances in the film, which features music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, whilst cinematography is handled by Sakthi Saravanan and the film is edited by K. L. Praveen and N. B. Srikanth. The film follows the journey of three young men, Vinayagam, Ramarajan and Saamikannu, who flee from their remote, conservative village to escape their overly strict families and travel to the international tourist-destination Goa, after encountering a friend who had fallen in love with a Caucasian girl whilst on holiday there. The film explores their time in Goa, the people they meet ranging from gay hoteliers to suave casino owners, and dwells on the relationships they encounter in the region. The film, which began pre-production work in August 2008, became highly anticipated before release due to the successes of the director's prior two films. Filming began in April 2009 and took place in various locations: in the title location of Goa as well as in Pannapuram, Tamil Nadu and Langkawi, Malaysia with the latter being used due to the monsoonal season of Goa, forcing the team to relocate. Before release, the film was given an adult rating by the Central Board of Film Certification, despite much contention from the team with the film also avoiding a court case in regard to the producer's loan. The film released on 29 January 2010 to mostly mixed reviews.

SOUNDTRACK

Film score and soundtrack for Goa are composed by Venkat Prabhu's cousin and regular music composer, Yuvan Shankar Raja. Since approximately the first twenty minutes of the film are set in the 1980s, it is known that the music for the affected scenes and a couple of the songs were recorded live (as it was done during that time) to "do justice to the scenes". Yuvan Shankar Raja had started the re-recording works for the film score on 21 December 2009, after having watched the entire film and had finished it within seven days with the help of his cousin and assistant Premji Amaran. The soundtrack, after several postponements, was finally released on 4 January 2010. The album features 9 songs overall. 18 singers have lent their voices for the songs, including composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, his father Ilaiyaraaja, his siblings Karthik Raja and Bhavatharini, his cousins Premji Amaran and director Venkat Prabhu, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, K. S. Chitra and actress-singer Mamta Mohandas. Contrary to earlier reports that suggested that merely three or four numbers would feature in the film, seven out of the nine songs were used in their entirety, besides two more additional tracks.
