| Kazhugu Movie Soundrack - Yuvan Shankar Raja |
Audio launch of Yuvan Shankar Raja's Kazhugu, a movie jointly produced by Talking Times Movies and Arun Film Entertainers, was held at Satyam, Chennai on November 23rd. Apart from the cast and crew of the movie, the launch saw attendance of many veterans of Tamil cinema, including S A Chandrasekar and R K Selvamani.
The movie is directed by debut director Sathyasiva and has Krishna and Bindu Madhavi in the lead. Krishna is director Vishnu Vardhan's brother.
Attendees at the event include Sakthi Chidambaram, Vishnuvardhan, Yuvan Shankar Raja, TG Thiagarajan, Kalaipuli Thanu, Jayaprakash, Gayathri and Pushkar and Veera. Kazhagu also has Jayaprakash, Karunas and Thambi Ramiah as supporting cast.
The soundtrack of Kazhugu was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, a close friend of Krishna. It features five tracks, which were sung Yuvan Shankar Raja himself, his brother Karthik Raja and noted folk music artists Pushpavanam Kuppusamy and Velmurugan among others. The lyrics were penned by Na. Muthukumar and Snehan. The soundtrack album was released on 23 November 2011 in Sathyam Cinemas.
