Latest News about Yuvan Shankar Raja is that a new combo is all set to arrive in Kollywood. And guess who will be composing music for the first time for a Vikram starrer? None other than Yuvan Shankar Raja, who says he is looking forward to it. Yuvanshankar Raja will compose music for the first time for a film starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role. It will be directed by Suseenthiran.
’I will be composing for Suseenthiran’s next movie in Kuala Lumpur. This is my first time working with Kenny Vikram and am eagerly looking forward to it,’ says Yuvan, the Illayaraja Junior.
Remember Illayaraja’s music was one of the key ingredients to the success of Sethu, National award winning director Bala’s maiden film, which completely rewrote the career of Vikram.
Meanwhile, Suseenthiran, who is popular for trying different genres (Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, Nan Mahan Alla and Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai) is currently busy giving final touches to the script. The duo will be spending the time working on the music for Vendhan which both are determined shall be outstanding. To further their common ambition they have flown down to Singapore where they will be involved in the music composition.
Flushed with the success of his recent release Azhagarsaamiyin Kudhirai, director Suseendhran is all set to move on to his dream project with Chiyaan Vikram.
Though earlier it was said that Vikram would be seen in a dual role, an aide close to the director revealed that the script has been altered and now Chiyaan is playing just one role. Tollywood beauty Deeksha Seth will be seen sizzling with Vikram.
After an interval, K.Viswanath, the Tollywood filmmaker and actor known for his versatility, has been roped in by Suseendhran to play the role of Vikram’s grandfather. The film is a family entertainer set against the backdrop of Kumbakonam.
The 80-year old national award-winning director was so impressed with Suseendhran’s script that he immediately gave his nod, informs an insider. Yet another actor, Thambi Ramayya, who is on a high after Mynaa, has been signed to play an important character.
